An addition or remodel involves an existing structure, so the firm needs to measure it, understand how it was built and coordinate any structural changes. Proposals for the same addition can describe very different amounts of work. We make those differences visible.
Rules for accessory units and conversions vary by city and county, and many firms do this work only occasionally. We look for professionals who do it regularly where your property is, and compare how each proposes to handle the existing structure, utilities and submission.
Some firms will build on drawings prepared by someone else; many prefer to start over. We find professionals willing to assess what you have and propose a next step, and we make sure each proposal says in writing what they plan to reuse, what they plan to redo and who becomes responsible.
Fit-outs, changes of use and small commercial projects bring landlord, use and consultant questions that differ from home projects. We look for firms with comparable commercial work and organize the questions your landlord, lender or partners will want answered.

Directories and matching services are a good way to see who is out there. Several are funded by the firms they list, which is a legitimate model.
Our model is different. You pay us, and we work only for you. A directory gives you a list. We give you a finished search: firms that want your project, checked, priced for the same scope and compared line by line, with a clear recommendation.
No. We don’t design, draw, engineer, or apply for permits. We help you choose the professional who will. You contract with them directly.

Yes. The professional’s fees are agreed between you and them, under your own contract with them. Our fee is for our hiring support only.
It depends on how much is at stake. Our fee makes most sense when professional fees and construction costs are large enough that choosing the wrong firm, or missing an exclusion, would cost you far more than our fee. If your project is small and needs only simple drawings, our fee may be a large share of what you would pay the designer. We will tell you that on the first call.
Yes. Quote Protection compares up to three proposals you already have, screens your preferred finalist and gives you a written recommendation. In a search package, we can include firms you suggest alongside the ones we find.
Yes. We look for professionals willing to assess drawings prepared by someone else, and we make sure each proposal states what they plan to reuse or redo and who becomes responsible. Whether drawings can be reused is a professional judgment for the firm, not for us.
Location is one of the first filters we agree with you. If you need site visits or local meetings, we look for firms that can provide them, and we record each firm’s site-visit arrangements in the comparison.
Our team works remotely from Pakistan and coordinates with U.S. firms during U.S. business hours. We don’t need to be local because the professional you hire will be; our job is the research, outreach, documentation and coordination.
We record the reason if they give one and move to the next suitable firm on your list. Hands-Free Hiring includes one replacement-candidate search.
That is your decision to make. Plans change, and sometimes the right answer is to wait. Our fee covers the work we deliver, and you keep your hiring file.
Each check records what a specific source showed on a specific date: for example, a state licensing board record showing an active license. When a search finds no record, we say exactly that, with the source and date, rather than calling anyone “cleared”.
Checks don’t predict future performance. We don’t run criminal background investigations, access private records, carry out exhaustive litigation searches or certify insurance coverage. Technical and legal questions go to qualified professionals.
Our guarantees cover our own work: owner-only payment, documented checks, license verification, transparent comparison, your choice of firm, and delivery of the deliverables in your agreement. We don’t guarantee a firm’s performance, permit approval, review times, construction costs, completion dates or savings.
